Starting June 28th, lucky GreenGo users will find Munch surprise packages in their cars, offering 40-70% discounts to enjoy great meals at discounted prices throughout the country. This way, not only can users eat well on a budget, but they also actively fight food waste. Everyone wins: we significantly reduce environmental burden, users save on increasingly expensive food prices, and restaurants can operate more economically and sustainably.

"Munch's goal is to reduce environmental impact through food rescue while helping restaurants turn losses into additional revenue. Customers, in turn, can discover new places at a discount while supporting a good cause" – said Albert Wettstein, Munch co-founder – "Just as community is important to GreenGo, it is to Munch too: in our Facebook groups, where over 65,000 people actively participate, Munch users regularly share their experiences with each other. Additionally, the personal pickup of packages serves to reinterpret the power of personal connection and community in today's fast-paced, increasingly digital world. Because only together, united, can we achieve truly great changes."

"Munch's efforts align with GreenGo's objectives: we work to reduce environmental burden by reducing domestic car traffic" – added Boglárka Ádám, GreenGo's managing director. "That's why we approached the Munch team with this campaign idea: we believe that those who are already doing their part for a sustainable future in one area of their lives – for example, by using shared cars – will more easily adopt other environmentally conscious habits into their daily routines."

Munch, which has existed for three years, has rescued nearly 800,000 meals and prevented nearly 2,000 tons of CO2 emissions; GreenGo, which has been operating for nearly seven years, has removed over 4,100 tons of carbon dioxide from the country's air. Both companies seek beneficial initiatives beyond their core operations: Munch partners with the Hungarian Food Bank to provide meals to those in need through the MunCharity program, while GreenGo has financed the planting of nearly 7,000 trees through the Run for the Trees! program.
